I've bought 3 of these in the past 12 months, and love them. You get a great processor, a nice amount of ram, and the ability to downgrade to windows xp. All of the machines that I bought, I've downgraded to windows xp, because that's the predominant operating system that is used in my location.
When I received the box, it was larger than I was expecting. The reason for this, was the included "base". This base has a spot for the L460, as well as, a mounting arm for the 22" monitor. This mounting arm raises the monitor to a comfortable height and is adjustable. You can swinging left and right (about 50 degrees) and you can move it up and down. However, you cannot rotate the monitor to portrait mode.
The computer itself, has a nice core 2 duo processor, 4 USB ports in the front, as well as, 4 USB ports out back. It also has built in wifi, so you don't have to locate it near a network jack.
My only problem with the computer is a large external power supply. I wish they could have squeezed it into the chassis, and make the chassis a bit bigger. Also, you have to have 2 outlets for this system work. It would've been great if you could have plugged the monitor into the chassis, so that the monitor would turn on when the computer would turn on. Other than those minor issues, I have nothing but praise about this package.
