This sound card works very well with Ubuntu Linux 7.04 Feisty Fawn. It was recognized by Linux immediately. The quality of sound is excellent. The price is certainly right. Highly recommended for Linux users.
Great For Vista June 7, 2007 Jonathan Gesualdi 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I installed vista on an old computer, but the sound card manufacturer didnt supply a driver for vista, hence, the my original soundcard never worked. I had no sound for a few days until this arrived. Even though it says it doesnt support vista, if you just work your way through a few error messages, it will install. First install the software, then, when it tells you, plug in the usb card. Now I have sound again, and saved 20-30 bucks off of buying a new computer soundcard. The volume is a little low, but besides that, it works great, haven't tried the microphone yet though.

I am completely impressed by this product. It has an amazingly clear sound, good bass and very loud volume. I just plugged it in and it worked with vista without installing any drivers. It also worked automatically with ubuntu. Its an amazing product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Works like a charm July 22, 2007 Yuriy Yatsyk 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I like to listen to music when I'm working, but the laptop that I'm using (Dell XPS) has an unfortunate design flaw - headphones connector is way too close to exhaust fan, so I can always hear humming noise in my headphones. I decided to give this card a try and could not be happier - sound quality is nice, no clicks, pops or any other distortions. Windows XP recognized the card without the need to install any drivers. Just pop it in and listen, you won't regret.
Little dynamite July 9, 2007 Emilio (Montana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little mighty mite puts out big sound. Installation was a piece of cake under Windows XP Pro. Hooked it up to a Logitech Headset and it worked great. Hooked up to my Creative Labs speakers and the sound was as good or better than my Turtle Beach USB Soundcard. I just got it so I can't say anything about durability/reliability. But first impression is that it is a great little item for not much money.
