Product Description Instead of struggling to reach your computer's ports on the back, wouldn't it be nice to connect your speakers or microphone to the front? This simple adapter adds a microphone-in and an audio-out port to your computer through a USB port. It's a great way to connect peripherals whose cords aren't long enough to reach around the back of your PC.

You can not beat the price for performance. February 3, 2010 101science.com 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
If you notice there are reviews all over the place. The reason for this is because those that are not getting good performance are not setting them up correctly in windows. After you install the USB device in a USB 2 connector (not a USB 1) you have to go into the windows volume control panel and be sure to select it (USB) as the device to be used. Otherwise it will still be set on your internal sound card. It is best to disable the internal sound card or else you may end up with noise you don't want. If you set it up correctly it works beautifully and for a fraction of the cost of a new soundcard.
Great April 10, 2010 Lisa C. Gatlin 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love it, it works well with my PS3 and PC, it has great sound through the Headphones, it is very good if you dont want to spend the extra money on a PS3 headset when you can buy a PC headset for $5 or less, so it is alot cheaper alternative for a PS3 headset!
Works great even in Linux December 30, 2008 Snake Shopper (Houston, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Does everything I expected it to do. I wanted this for my linux system and it worked just fine (under RHEL 5.2). I haven't tried it in Windows but I'm sure it works there too. Another USB sound card I tried from logitech worked in linux as well but for some reason I wasn't able to adjust the software volume level with it. With this one I can, so it's even better. Great product and cheap!
A miracle! February 10, 2009 Russell L. Stutler (Tokyo) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nearly a year ago I apparently blew up the soundcard in my Mac and have gone without sound all that time. Then I bought this tiny little gadget, not really thinking it would help, but at that price it was worth a try. When I plugged it in, it was like a miracle! Very loud sound from my formerly silent computer! I didn't expect my microphone to work in it either because Macs will only accept line level microphone input (which requires a powered mic). But my regular mic worked anyway -- not as loud as a powered mic would be, but louder than I had expected (I expected no sound at all). I'm a bit angry that I didn't discover this thing several months earlier.
USB External Sound Card December 22, 2009 Esteban Mendiola (Chicago,IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This external sound card sounds great even sounds better than my own computer sound internal card me I give it to my friend because he need one for his computer because his computer internal sound card didn't work and he didn't have enough money to buy a internal sound card so I just give it to my friend now he can hear music and more does not sound crappy for me sounds alright my friend is happy that I get him this USB external sound card I recommended is simple to use you out in your USB input and wait to your computer reads the driver than check sound and your will heard sound and does great. I recommended to all who needs one.
